CROWNS AND BRIDGES

Crown (or caps) is placed on a tooth when it is fractured, has a large old filling, or is severely damaged by decay.

The crown strengthens and protects the tooth and helps it to regain its lost aesthetics and function. Crowns can be made from various materials like porcelain, porcelain-fused-to-metal (metal can be a precious or non-precious metal), metal crown with porcelain facing or a complete metal crown.
